We are two “stubborn Istrians” with soft hearts – Denis and Melinda Jurada. We met for the first time on May 11, 1994, at the Refošk Festival in Marezige. I, Denis, am one of the three founders of the Vinol Association. As a child, I was introduced to agriculture during summer vacations with my grandparents in Juradi, and Melinda grew up on a farm in Gradin, a village located on the highest hill of Slovenian Istria. From there, if the weather is right, you can view the landscape across the sea to Venice and Triglav. Cultivating the fields, vines, olives and growing vegetables is my pleasure. It was passed onto me by my ancestors – it is in my blood. After my father passed, I became the heir to the farm and a cooperator of Agraria Koper.
We offer Refosco and Malvasia wines, Istrian Belica, Črnica and Leccino olive oil, as well as seasonal vegetables, such as spring onions with leaves, potatoes, garlic, garlic cloves, leeks, Berivka salad, salad heads, various radicchios… You can get all our products at our home by prior arrangement.
